QUESTIONS

Can I post my behind the scenes?

The behind the scenes footage will be edited and possibly uploaded to the Flicks YouTube page. The client may purchase the rights of the behind the scenes footage to post on any of your accounts. If purchased Flicks will not post the footage unless permission is given directly from the client.

What counts as an edit tweak?

A tweak would count as swapping a clip, cutting at a certain time, removing/adding an effect, ect… Basically almost anything that you don't like and Flicks has to go back and reEdit and reExport. If you request an edit tweak and still don't like your tweaked version of the video, it will not count as another tweak to go back and change it. Please contact us for any questions about edit tweaks.

DEFINITIONS

DSLR - The official definition of “DSLR” according to the New Oxford American Dictionary is: “denoting or relating to a camera that combines the optics and mechanisms of a single-lens reflex camera with a digital imaging sensor, rather than photographic film” We at Flicks use “DSLR” to symbolize/simplify the DSLR camera we use. (The Canon Rebel EOS T7i)

Camcorder - The official definition of “Camcorder” according to the New Oxford American Dictionary is: “a portable video camera that incorporates a video recorder” We at Flicks use “Camcorder” to symbolize/simplify our camcorder camera. (The Sony Handycam DCR-DVD92)

Location - The official definition of “Location” according to the New Oxford American Dictionary is: “a particular place or position” We at Flicks don't use that word too differently. A Location is where we film the song at. For example, If you buy a package that comes with 2-3 locations, We would only film you to the song in 2-3 different spots. If you buy for example 1 additional location then that means we would go to another location outside of the 2-3 locations included in the example package.

Edit “tweaks”/reEdit - Unfortunately there is no official definition of this. But we at Flicks use this term to signify changes to your final edit of your video. So for example, if you don't like your video, and your package comes with a “Edit Tweak” and/or you purchase one, then Flicks will go back and reEdit your video to your liking.

Behind the Scenes - When your package comes with 2 videographers you get a behind the scenes. 1 videographer will be recording the main video while the other will be recording/taking pictures from behind the recording camera.

TikTok/Instagram/Snap Story Teasers - Teasers are (usually) vertical videos in the video resolution to fit on your phone screen (9:16 aspect ratio) These teasers will be short clips of your video that you can post on any social media (Ex. TikTok/Instagram/Snapchat Story) These can be used to create excitement for your upcoming/existing video. Flicks also has permission to post these at any time as well.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment runs on a 50/50 system. Flicks requires half (50%) of the payment before the video shoot. And the other half is required once you receive your video and it is to your liking.

Payment for any additional services will be required before you receive them.

We at Flicks accept Cash/Paypal (Friends and family payments only)/Wire Transfer

Package prices are Non-negotiable. although, add-ons are negotiable. We at flicks want to make sure our prices work with you.
